Book Discussion: Story & Table, by Mike Roth
I wrote Story & Table because I kept noticing the same thing: the stories we inherit about God become tables in our lives—who gets a seat, who serves, and who’s left outside. I’m convinced some of those tables need to be re-set. My book explores the stories we’ve been told (about the bible, the gospel, salvation, atonement, and the afterlife) and the tables they’ve set. It then turns to the stories we need to hear—and the wider, more generous tables those stories make possible. I’d love to sit with you and talk about it.
