Come join us as we hike the Memaloose Hills Trail in Mosier, OR. This is a great way to get to know others at Pearl and enjoy the outdoors! Mosier is about 1 hr and 10 minutes outside of Portland, just past Hood River. This trail is about 3.5 miles, with 600 feet elevation gain. It has two medium hills to climb, which are covered in wildflowers, balsam root and lupine. There are great views of the Columbia River, Mt Hood, and a glimpse of Mt Adams.
Rachel McCown will be coordinating this hike. We will meet at the Gateway Transit Center at 9am and carpool from there. Please bring water, snacks and/or lunch for yourself. Long pants are suggested because poison oak and ticks are common at this time of year.
