Facilitated by Abby Coppock. Given the intensity of the past few weeks and the turbulence in our nation, we want to hold space for our personal and collective processing. We are all in-process on these issues, and part of the journey to become more anti-racist is being able to notice what we are feeling and be curious about where that comes from. Similarly, being able to listen and learn from how others are experiencing this time is key to building empathy and self-reflection. While the tendency is often to jump into action (which is also important), we don't want that to be at the expense of the individual work, which is arguably more significant. This listening session is specifically designed for self-reflection, and opens the door for future conversations about response. Please consider carving out time for this important opportunity to process the events of the last few weeks. Questions? Please contact Pastor Mike.
There will be two sessions to choose from, one Thursday 8-9pm, and the other on Sunday 11-noon. The Zoom links will be in our weekly email. Need to login now and need the link? Please email Pastor Mike.
