Preaching Ministry

We want to teach the Word of God in ways that bring light to our paths, in ways that are true to the voice of God, and in ways that accord with the complexities and nuances of our journeys.  We believe that the ministry of preaching is crucial to forming Christian consciousness and we take the proclamation of God’s word seriously. Those who preach at Pearl Church are committed to thorough training and ongoing discipleship to hone their gift. We purpose to preach expository sermons. That is to say, we want the word of God to speak to us. We want to hear from God’s unique biblical instruction and we desire to respond to the Holy Spirit’s guidance for our lives as we learn from his word.
