Men’s Ministry

We want men at Pearl Church to truly worship God and to follow Jesus with their lives.  We hope to offer a community that will strengthen all men in this endeavor. We desire to offer opportunities for men to connect with other men and with God. This happens through ongoing events like our monthly men’s coffee hour and annual events like our golf tournament, men’s happy hours, and summer topical groups. For some men it also happens through committing to and participating in a men’s home group or our two year intensive discipleship program.
Our monthly coffee hour meets in a local coffee shop on the last Sunday of each month.  This is a casual time to hang out together and catch up, as well as talk informally about faith issues.
We offer men’s home groups, based upon interest level.  These groups offer the opportunity to build close community with other Pearl men.  The groups choose the topic they wish to focus on each term. 
Our two year discipleship program is for those who desire to make a long term commitment to growing as a follower of Jesus.  The purpose of the two year discipleship group is to give men the desire and tools to make disciples of others around us.  Through commitment to relationships with other men and an in-depth look at the life of David, this intensive program also seeks to shape godliness in us as men.
As our ministry grows we look forward to adding recreational and sports activities.  We also look forward to offering days in which we can serve our community together.
