Transitioning Your Child
Your child may ‘graduate’ to the next class when they meet the criteria below. When your child meets the criteria for the next class, please communicate with the appropriate teachers before transitioning. This will help us be prepared. Each class is very much in process and change as we continue to develop. Thank you for being patient with us!
Nursery; Infant and Toddler: When your baby starts to walk or can crawl well enough where you feel they won’t get ‘run over’ by the older toddlers in the class.
Preschool: This class is more structured than the walker class. They will sit in a circle, learn to take turns, and do group-like activities. It would be ideal for your child to be potty trained before entering this class.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade: When your child can cognitively grasp simple concepts from the lessons, can socially take turns and participate in group activities they are ready for this class. At this time, we do not have a separate class for this age group.
If you have questions about the Children’s Ministry, please contact , Children’s Ministry Director.
He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. – Mark 10:14b
