Catechism Class Introduction
Description: Each participant in Pearl’s Catechism Class will grow in his or her ability to “exegete” the Apostles’ Creed, understanding its context, content, and meaning. By memorizing, meditating upon, and discussing the creed, participants will become familiar with Christian language and history and will build a strong foundation of Christian theological reflection. This session will take place in the 2nd floor landing area. Participants must plan to attend at least 6 of the 7 sessions, commit to reading a weekly reading-packet, and plan to memorize the creed. $10 covers the cost of reading packet copies and binder for each participant. Scholarships are available, simply contact a facilitator to request one. You may signup 1) online at the Adult Education Ministry’s page: here or 2) by emailing .
