Our Connecting events offer a number of low-key, social opportunities to get to know others around a shared interest. We have events for hiking, poetry readings, an LGBTQIA+ connection group, whiskey & wine tasting, and more! See below for upcoming opportunities.
Learn More About Pearl is an informal offering during which Pastor Mike introduces the Pearl Church community and answers any questions that newcomers may have. Each quarter we host a Welcoming Newcomers gathering, where you will have an opportunity to meet our pastors, staff and several long-time members at Pearl Church. These are usually directly following our service on Sundays.
Membership Classes are a more formal way to better know the Pearl Community. We cover Pearl’s story, rhythms, values, practices, by-laws, budget, and ministries. Every few months following the service, Pastor Mike leads a book discussion. A book is selected in advance and participants gather to discuss how to understand and be shaped by the ideas that are illuminated in the book selection.
Several times a year, we hold an Educational Evening. Educational Evenings are opportunities to discuss practical, theological, and biblical topics that we aren't able to cover on Sunday mornings or in home groups.
