Connect

In the Bible, Jesus has two different kinds of invitations. One is "Come and see." He invites everyone to check out what he is like and to consider what a life in him would be like. Then he calls us to give our lives away for him. He calls us to live with his agenda, his heart, his values and ethic as our priority in life. This may sound like a bait and switch, but it's not. Jesus says this life of following him is far better than anything we can imagine. In fact, he tells us that in following him we find life itself. Being a spectator or a consumer of Christian religious experience, it turns out, comes with no promises. So we invite you to give your lives away with us, and taste the promises of the gospel with us.
